Gretchen & Beau… where to begin?? Gretchen is one of those brides that has been on top of it since DAY 1. She booked us waaaaay back, and we did their engagement session shortly thereafter. It was a super fun session, from which one of the images became our “poster child” in our ads for awhile (the couple kissing under the yellow shutters… yep, that was them!). Over the coming months we kept in touch via email and phone, so by the time their wedding finally arrived I already felt them to be true friends. I wish they lived here… I just know we would all hang out! Gretchen had her destination wedding fabulously planned. Her friends and relatives commented on how blessed they were by her arranging activities for them during their stay as well as a welcoming gift with snacks, maps of the area, and other thoughtful items. The day of the wedding went of without a hitch (other than one of her guests that kept asking if I wanted to see his nuts…which luckily happened to be a pair of buckeyes he had in his pocket!), and was one of the most well coordinated weddings we’ve shot.
